Thirty-Four Years

Tomorrow, "Rock Star" and I will be married 34 years. We met as juniors in high school, dated through college and married at the age of 20. Back then, it didn't seem so young - today, I couldn't imagine one of my children marrying at that age. I cringe to think that Bob was younger than Kevin is RIGHT NOW, when we got married.

Anyway, we're leaving after lunch and driving into Chicago. I've made dinner reservations for tonight at Petterino's and we're staying at the Hampton Majestic - just a few blocks from the Sears Tower - in the heart of the Theater District. Tomorrow afternoon, we're seeing PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, thanks to our children.

Following the theater, it will be a quick trip home so that "Rock Star" can perform tomorrow night at the Democratic Club. Looks like he'll be changing clothes in the car!
