While tailgating on Saturday morning, we noticed two Navy jets doing what appeared to be a "practice" fly over. A few hours later, we were in our seats in Notre Dame Stadium - actually, we were standing and singing the National Anthem - when Bob leaned over to me and pointed to the south. Perfectly synchronized to the music, they flew over just as we sang "the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave". That will put a lump in your throat on ANY given day!!
