Valentine Tradition

It's become pretty much a tradition - roses on Valentine's Day. But Rock Star puts his own little twist on this. For as long as I can remember, he always gives me six roses - a white rose for me and five red roses for our five daughters. Last night, I walked into the kitchen to see a beautiful vase filled with the traditional six roses - along with two more - both pink. I knew right away what he'd done. He'd included Grace and Anna - our grandaughters. He's such a sentimental pushover. OK - not really, but it was a beautiful touch. Add to this a wonderful dinner (crab cakes, stuffed mushrooms, filet and lobster tail) at the Millenium Steakhouse and it was a perfect Valentine's Day.
