Brothers.....

Looking at these sweet photos of Nolan and Jack, you'd never guess that a few weeks ago Jack hit Nolan in the mouth with a wiffle ball bat and gave him a fat lip - and then this past weekend, Jack punched Nolan in the mouth and knocked out his already loose front tooth. Please note that neither one of these incidents happened on "grandma watch".

Hair Today....Gone Tomorrow

Our little Jack had that surfer boy look going for quite sometime. His mom struggled with cutting it - he was so stinkin' cute with those curls. Earlier this summer, they were getting ready for a Florida trip and Carrie knew that something had to give with Jack and that hair.

So they visited Aunt Colleen, and the hair was HISTORY! It's "ok" Jack - you're still a little cutie!!

Ben and Jack

Ben Van Fleit and Jack Urbanski are cousins. Their moms are sisters. They live in the same neighborhood. They were born one week apart. These two fight like two little puppies. They love to play pirates and Star Wars and someone always ends up hurt. These two are going to be Chrissie and Brock's ring bearers. Should we be worried???

The Proper Way to Eat an Oreo Cookie

Sometimes I think the ONLY reason Jack and Grace want to come to Grandma's house is for milk and Oreo cookies. Another thing I ponder - how does a 2-year old know that he's supposed to pull the two layers of cookie apart? Is it just something deep within the senses? I mean, no one taught him to pull the Oreo apart. He even dunks the Oreo in his milk. The kid's a genius!!!

Notice in this first photo - layer one is going into the mouth, while layer two (complete with the frosting) is waiting in his left hand.

In this photo, he's taking a bite of the "good stuff".

Now - he goes for the milk dunk.

...and finally, the cookies are gone, but there's a few crumbs left in the bottom of his milk glass. Yes sir - I think Jack has mastered the proper way to eat an Oreo cookie.

Grace in Charge...

Our Gracie will be two in another month and here she is - showing her little brother Jack and her cousin Ben just who's in charge. These two little guys are CONSTANTLY getting kisses and hugs from her. If they could ONLY defend themselves!!!

One of these days, they'll both be bigger than her, but for right now - Gracie's in charge!

Latest Layouts

I've actually had some time in the past few days to do some pages for myself - not the Design Team, not my personal orders from customers - just ME! Every now and then it's nice to put aside all of the "requirements" and dwell on my own family album.

Sisterly Love...

Gracie's a big sister, and loving every minute of it..... so far.

We Are Blessed...

These two little guys showed up just before Christmas.

Ben (on the left) was born on December 13th and Jack on December 20th. Our family is growing quickly and we couldn't be more blessed. GOD is GOOD!!

Our Family Has Grown by Two...

This year's family Christmas photo includes two new little guys - Ben Van Fleit and Jack Urbanski. In this photo, Ben is 11 days old and Jack is just 4 days old.

Next year should be a real challenge - with two 1 year olds crawling (or toddling) through the gifts.

Jack Thomas Urbanski

Two grandsons in one week AND Christmas - good enough reason NOT to update my BLOG! One week later, I'm proud to introduce our second Christmas blessing in 7 days - Jack.

He was born at 11:57 a.m. on December 20th - weighing in at 7 pounds and 3 ounces. He is the third (and last) child for Carrie and Joe and he has an older brother Nolan and a big sister Grace. The happy family was at home for Christmas Eve and Jack was joined by his 1 week older and wiser cousin Ben.

It looks to me like Nolan is trying to decide how in the world he's going to "play" with this little brother. Give him a little time Nolan and he'll be messing up all your "stuff".
