Even a half hour rain shower couldn't dampen the spirits or the smiles on this evening. We managed to still have our picnic, the skies cleared, a double rainbow appeared and our winning ways continued. Our seven seniors posed for photos before devouring an 8' sub sandwich and then it was down to the business of defeating #10 ranked Elkhart Memorial in a thrilling 7th inning win!! Winning the Reinbold Invitational Classic and defeating a team like Elkhart Memorial is a great way to end our regular season and head into Sectionals next week.

Prior to the big game, the senior moms had a little fun - posing for photos in their son's travel jerseys.

Even our little Nolan
managed to stick it out the entire game and he was thrilled to finally get his picture taken with his favorite player (besides Uncle Kevin) - Josh Willis. It just so happened that Josh was the one to get the winning hit in the bottom of the 7th and he made sure to tell Nolan that he'd drank four glasses of milk that day. (If you don't know the "milk" story - read further down my BLOG for the story - Out of the Mouths of Babes).

..and of course, one picture with Kevin. Nolan's parting words, "I'm proud of you Uncle Kevin".
