Family Thanksgiving 2005

We spent our Thanksgiving - along with approximately 35 other members of the Knight Family - in Greenville, Illinois. Our little hometown was invaded by three carloads of Hoosiers. All of our children and their spouses or significant others were able to make the trip, except for Carrie. With only three weeks to go until "Baby Urbanski", she just didn't feel up to the six hour car ride.

The rest of us enjoyed a typical Knight reunion - lots of good food and family stories. Kelli and I skipped out, along with her cousins Ellen and Maria to enjoy an evening at the movies to see Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. On Friday, my sister in law Patty and myself along with a car load of daughters and nieces, headed off to the mall in St. Louis. Of course, we had an ulterior motive...the Scrapbook Factory was about a half mile from the mall, so once the girls had their fill of shopping and eating - they sat in the van and watched a DVD while Patty and I got our scrapbook shopping fill.

Then, it was back home and an evening out to dinner with Bob's sister Kathy, his brothers Steve and Glen and their wives - Patty and Julianne. More time to just sit and visit - without the interruption of lots of little voices!

A great weekend with family!!
